I am not sure where your confusion comes from. The U.S. part of it? or the Helo part? If it is about buying them from the States, we probably gave y'all a very good deal on price as a bargaining chip for continued alliance. With our Socialists (Nancy Pelosi mainly) attempting to insult you and the rest of our allies with meaningless condemnations about events from a century ago, we have to show concrete reminders of friendship. Although there are other Countries who make helos as good as ours, we are probably in the best position to sell them cheaply to our allies.Khan wrote:The army seems to have a helicopter fetish for the last months. If you do not understand why infantry units are better when they have air transport that can land them pretty much anywhere, then try driving a truck over some mountains. Helos can be vulnerable, but they can totally change a battlefield situation that was once hopeless because of terrain.

Hmm... Well I suppose it is OK since PKK seems to have less stingers than landmines and IED's after a bit of reading in the googles.
