Allahu Akbar (Or, Iran takes over the world), lol

Post by rhjyyz »

After 3 weeks of intense play on WWIII, Iran is just one region away from total global domination:

Figures those Canucks would hold out till the bitter end. They moved their capital to Annatavarivo (Madagascar), lol. I didn't even know they got it when I defeated South Africa. Oh well, it's just that and probably Iceland before they fall....

Many observations during this scenario.

This was played on very hard/normal, complete victory
Didn't use the exploit where the AI will pay anyprice for commodity (I used auto sell) and let the comp figure the best price.
After the first 5 or 6 regions I changed the initative to 100% (too many units to micromanage), so my kill ratio went from 13 to 1 to about 8 to 1
(roughly)
Mostly lost bulk of my units from surrendering forces near another region they were at war with and couldn't get them out or supplied in time.
DAmn AI subs love to pickoff transport ships too...
Treasury at 4Trillion and climbing (making about 20-25Billion a day)

Will have a few more screenies in the future...

Well, I have a couple of islands to conquer......

Check that.... it was on normal difficulty on both settings, but this was before I discovered the joys of mech inf.

I used tanks, artillery, supply trucks, a little AA and interceptors exclusively. And surrendering units of course...

I'm gonna try my hand at Israel at very hard/unpredictable, going heavy on the mech inf. and might use some fighter/bombers.. Israel appears to be lacking in resources and looks to be a challenge. Also, to try to even things up I will not build anything, just take by conquest, the infra,industries,etc... I did a lot of road and industry building with Iran in the beginning.

Anyone have any input which would be the toughest region to start with?

So where do u start on trying to say that? And right now playing WW3 too as Germany. Israel is my ally right now but after Russia is gone I have to turn on them. Germany and Israel will be the only 2 region left in the Eastern Hemisphere. Then there's the US to deal with then.

The army seems to have a helicopter fetish for the last months. I read a lot about expensive Chopper purchases from USA. Wtf?!

Some footages of Turkish commandos with overemotional music and poetry since everyone got ubernationalist over the last PKK terror acts. Nevermind the silly name and tags full of swearing and anger.
