Research gained when unify/conquer?

Post by Leafgreen »

Searched but found nada, I'm betting it's around someplace in front of my nose...

But when you win via unification vote or by conquering another provice/state/country/etc do you gain any of their researched techs?

Only when you win by unification, not if you win by conquest.

Indeed. Reverse-engineering isn't that hard when you capture the production facilities, blueprints, technical manuals, working models, and the scientists who created the tech/engineers who built it.

Thanks. =)

But no need. If it was discussed, then it either had holes poked in it and was filed in the circular file or it's on a backburner with more important tweaks ahead of it.
