it appears to me that the value you are asked by default to pay is a value based on your own production cost.

If this is so, shouldnt it be changed ?

Shouldnt it really be based on the production cost of the region your buying from OR the current price that region is selling the commodity for on the World Market ?

You are absolutely correct.

You don't know the other person's cost, but perhaps the world price (there is no more WM of SR2020) might work. We're still exploring that.

Is there a U.N.? Any global organization?

If not, the story line about the demise of the U.N. would be really fun to develop.

story line about the demise of the U.N.
?
Dont we all know that in 1996, while U.N. inspectors were "searching" iraq for WMDs they came accross a bunker filled with lip baum and "talcum" powder .
And that knowing the U.N. used a TON of both, gathered it all up and shipped it to the New York offices.Which than lost it all til 2008, at which time they found it again, and dipersed it to the U.N. lavatories for use by members of the U.N.
Sadly (or not, depending on your view) soon after they found out the "talcum " powder was indeed nothing of the sort, when anthrax wiped out 97% on the U.N.

Dont we all know this is the way it will end ? :P

I noticed this, if i sell job lots of oil in the trade window i can, using the Tkobo method of cornering the market, get prices in the $100,000 a barrel plus range.

However if I then try to make a diplomatic trade sending oil or selling it the unit value is nothing like the market price.

Ah well cant win them all.

Cheers
