Strange terrain

Post by Squigbunny »

I've just started playing the world scenario and have noticed some oddities;

Sicily has no high ground. hex 414,415 and 415,154 both including Mt Etna a major volcano is described as agricultural! As I recall, the Sicilian Campaign of WW2 was fought largely in rough and mountainous terrain (the coast and the plain of Catania being the exceptions).

The Nile delta is largely described as agricultural - it is a huge swampy area, as is the source of the Nile. Swamps do not seem to feature on the map at all. I'm not concerned about the little ones - but those that are represented by large tracts of land in real life. :oops:

Mt Etna is likely an error. We will take a look at that. Thanks

For the Nile delta, the problem was that each hex represents 35km. Because ~90% of all food in Egypt is produced along the nile, we needed to place agri tiles there to achieve the proper output levels for the region.
