If you could grab me the region IDs for each of them from the wiki and the technology ID# from the default.ttrx file in /maps/data I'll get these added for the next update. The launch pads will have to wait as I'm not doing map work for a while.

Else I'll get to it when I get a chance.

and the technology ID# from the default.ttrx file in /maps/data
you mean like that?: 24, 4, 61, , , , 205, , , , 110, 3500000000, 0.5, 0.25, 0.25, True, False, False, False, False, // Satellites. I'm confused =p

you got the tech right, Satellites is tech #24, thanks.

for the regions, each has a unique ID like the techs, the regions are listed on the SupremeWiki;

http://www.supremewiki.com/index.php/In ... gions_list

so if you could just "translate" that list of names into ID#s that would be great! And don't worry, I'll be patient ;)

Balthgor I can get you the info for Germany and a couple others, but as for most of the EU members they only manufacture components of stallites for the ESA. I will get to work on this later today.

I have more time than you, so I'll cross check as many as I can before I send you the info. Space centers are the easy part since they are very limited, however ground tracking facilities are a bit more numerous and I don't know if they're all necissary for the game.

Your research is not quite complete, many countries with satalites in orbit have either purchased or received assistance with there development, launch and maintenance.

Well according to this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite
This is the list of countries that can launch and separately the ones that can only build(I guess). I didin't found information of the ones that bought them on your link, only the ones that can/can't launch or can/can't operate.
There are discrepancies between the info of the links. =/
Later I'll try to research them all.

This is to help you dig a little deeper. I have some additional info and some govt'l contacts that I will be contacting to get a more narrowed down list tonight. I think that you and I will be able to help Balthgore and BG fix this problem.

I went through the list of of countries operating satallites and the good news is that we can eliminate 24 of them.

Poland, Bulgarian and Czech Republic use Soviet built INTERCOSMOS satallites.
Kazakhstan uses an Italian Alenia Spazio satallite.
Belarus uses a Russian Energiya satallite.
Venezuela uses a PRC CASC satallite.
Philippines use US Space Systems/Lora 1 satallites.
Egypt, Morocco, and Greece use German DLR/Astrium satallites.
Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, UAE, and Indonesia use US Boeing (Hughes) satallites.
Luxembourg, Portugal, Chile, Algeria and Nigeria use British SSTL satellites.
Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam use US Lockheed-Martin satellites.

These nations currently do not have the ability to build or launch any satallites, both Chile and Malaysia have plans to develope an indiginous satallite program but do not currently have the technollogy.
