learn how to advance under bad conditions and supply your troops manually.

IS there a way to get more supplies, do saudis or Iraqis fill supplies for my transport ships?

Yup, you need to set up a constant flowing conduit of supplies from the allied areas using only your supply units.

The CV-22 (hope i got the designation right  ) is a real help here.

I just thought of something. In this mission, Qatar has no capital ?

The former capital is under US control.AND Qatar and US are allied.

So..... a region can exist in the game with no capital ?

If thats so, it allows for some interesting possibilities.

a capital is just another city. I think Qatar reassigns its capital to the next largest city.

That a region could exist on the map in units only, with no cities or facilities.

I know its been said in the past that this cant be(in sr2010),but when i thought about the mission and how i didnt see a Qatari capital i thought "hmm, could there be a way,bug or some such ,that was not known about "for that to be done ?

ah, yes, still not possible to have a region with no cities, that is why the US gets one hex in Qatar in that mission. Don't loose it ;)

By the way, my transport ship ran out of supplies. IF I get it to Iraqi or Qatari space, do I get filled at their expense?

IIRC you will get the fuel from your own stock unless you are out. If you are completely out I believe they do fill you up from their stock "as a courtesy". We had some rule about that...

at their expense?
Tricky wording there :P

At their expense, no.

At your expense ,yes.

They will allow you to resupply FROM YOUR huge stockpiles.BUT they wont give you their supplies :P

Basically, they are your allies and just like in a normal game, your supply system can work in their hexs.

BUT, unlike a normal game, you have no facilities and only some very large stock piles to use.
Though i dont think anyone will run out of supplies, unless you sold them off for some reason  ,as the stock piles are large indeed.
The mission is only a couple of months long after all.
