is there a way to allow guerillas to attack weakest units ?
Lets say i have 3 mech infrantry,2 artillary, and 2 supply vehicles in a stack.
Than lets say a guerilla unit spawns in the same hex or an adjacent one.
Is there some way to allow the guerilla unit to attack the artillary and even the supply units, instead of follwoing the normal rules and having to engage the infrantry ?
Possibly make the guerilla an AoE attck unit ?

That is an interesting idea and one we had not considered; to allow guerrilla units to attack stand off units that are protected.
Should units such as special forces be able to do this sort of thing? Or should any unit in the same hex as a stand off unit be able to attack it no matter what else is there (in the same hex so can't hide behind someone else...)?

Hmmmmm, i LIKE the idea for special forces also.
I think "normal" units should have to abide by the rule.I like the rule very much.Units should be able to protect other units.
I do think though that "special" units should be allowed to ignore the rule, and should in fact strive to do so,striking at the weak spot.
It should be limited to units that serve this type of role in rl though.

More things i'd like to possibly see in the next game for guerillas and parts.
1)Id like them to be able to spawn even in cities they already control. So if a guer/part units spawns in a town, that town can now still spawn more of said units.
2) Umm, i kinda forgot what the second thing was as i was typing the first thing

Taking the SF idea to a tangent...
It would be nice to see a relational command for SF whereby they can direct airstrikes - similar to escort, a relationship between an SF unit and a tactical air unit ["Direct"] would be available, and the 'weakest' unit [that is, the one most likely to be completely destroyed] within the SF units scope of surveillance or control would be 'automatically' targeted...

Colorless green ideas sleep furiously [but otherwise, they do not worry and are happy].

Sorry for getting a litle bit OT here..... but imho i think this partisan/guerilla thing's are not proper balanced...
I like the concept ... but sometime it is getting a real pain in the a**
Q's How high must your "Law Ennforcement" be to stop those attacks.... ?
Does it also depend on the diff lvl... ?
Thanks...

If guerillas and/or spec ops attack 'rear area' troops then I think that if you have inf or another frontline force with them they should only be able to respond to these attacks straight away if they have been ordered to escort the Art/supplies. As has been said before about the effectiveness of nukes on a hex, some of them can be large and there is no actual reason why the units would all be in one big group in the middle, they would be spread out allowing the spec ops and guerilla forces a good chance of doing damage before being attacked. However if the inf was ordered to escort the art/supplies then you could assume that the actual positioning of troops would be different with regular patrols, emplcements etc.
Oh and as for the partisans; I don't seem to get attacks if my DAR is quite high (30%+).
