Just saying
That is outrageous!!

Just enable unit training!!

P.S. But first enable unit trading, you know, the selective one... :D
Let's be clear that the first statement is categorically false and has been disproved repeatedly. It wasn't even worth a response.

As for training in particular, that's been mentioned before, it was an SR2010 feature that did little to add to the game play and had little effect. To be worth redoing (there was NO carry over GUI from SR2010 to SR2020, everything had to be recoded) it would have needed a complete overhaul and might have cost us other features such as battlegroups or colonies or espionage or space race or 3D terrain or 3D models or one world map or naval invasions or AI improvements or speed improvements or Strategic Deployment or capital starts with relation data or on map notices or improved minister controls or whatever else I can't think of at this hour.

Oops, did I respond to the first? My bad...
Can training be easily solved in the following way:
1. Add training button in unit menu
2. When training button is activated (possible only for units deployed on map) unit can not move (because it is training)
3. Unit in training mode drains money, (fuel if it uses fuel) and MGs every day.
4. Unit in training mode gains experience over the time

Maybe this does not need complete ovrhaul.
And units gains too less experience in combat after all. I've got units with 50 or 100 kills, which saw combat for 5 years and they gained less than half of the XP bar.
Please teach AI everything!

And experience of conscript must be zeroized every year

What about linking the training topics with a "researchable" doctrine tree... Perhaps, it can be used as well as prereq for some units...

Agree. This would allow for upgrading of units to different specialties. Example: Each unit gets one "specialty" slot. I have an INF battalion, I do the doctrinal tech of "Mountain Warfare." I can now build a Mountain inf unit OR upgrade an existing INF to MTN. Same with INF to motorized or mechanized infantry, or horse cavalry to motorized cav, recon or light tank.
