Re: Map Errata
I didn't realize it was the same report, I don't do the map stuff, I just take note of reported issues on the map and pass them along.

Re: Map Errata
Villerubanne (one of Frances 4 air fabs) in Mid France, has an airfield instead of an airbase, which means it doesn't actually produce anything that is queued there.

Re: Map Errata
Was kind of hoping this would be fixed by 8.0.26 considering all was explained in detail in the previous post...number47 wrote:Concerning ticket 18207:

AUSTRIA:
the road between Vienna and Linz is at the wrong side of the Danube (river) ...The road (Highway) in the north was only being build some years ago
The "West Autobahn" (south of Danube) was in fact really built after the Anschluss, as Hitler promised to give the people work, so the unemployed have been forced to build that and other highways .... and as we know now, why he has done that, only for propaganda reason !
So all in all, there should be NONE in 1936 ... as only 14km has been built 1938 !!!!!!!!!!!
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Autobahn
(edit, done (removed road north of river) - Daxon. Leaving other roads as they are in game.)
As I think the roads in Supreme Ruler somehow reassembles REAL HIGHWAYS you could delete ALL roads ...
At that time only Trains have been of value for military use ...
Highways have been important only for political use ...
so there should be also the option "transport by train" for all UNITS (like that air and water transport possibilities) ,,, but that is OT in that thread

Re: Map Errata
From Steam forums;
I'll work on these. If anyone else finds some, please add to this thread.I have found some misspelled place names on the map, and maybe other players have too. I thought we could post about them here where the developer could look over them and include the changes in the next patch.
I looked for the place name files and I think I found them. Are the *.OOF files in the Maps folders the only files that need to be corrected?
I edited the OOF files, but when I start a new game, the old place names are still there.
I checked the Japanese place names, and here are the misspellings I found:
In-Game Name -> Correct Spelling
KITAYUSHU -> KITAKYUSHU
COCHIN -> KOCHI
TSURURGA -> TSURUGA
SAYAMAKM -> SAYAMA
CHOSI -> CHOSHI
AMORI -> AOMORI
MUTSO -> MUTSU
MURORAM -> MURORAN
KITAHIROCHIMA -> KITAHIROSHIMA
KITO-IWOJIMA -> KITA-IWOJIMA
(All the dashes in Japanese place names can be removed as well.)
CHICHIJIMA ISLAND -> CHICHIJIMA (without ISLAND - redundant, and other Japanese islands do not end in "ISLAND")
HAHAJIMA ISLAND -> HAHAJIMA (as above)
Also, in Louisiana, US
SULPHER -> SULPHUR
If you have found a misspelled place name, please post about it here.

Re: Map Errata
X:169 Y:240 Could possibly have a radar station on it or in the process of being built when the Korean War event kicks off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambria_Air_Force_Station
I installed cable out there once. It is privately owned now but back in the day, it was a really well placed radar station.
Also, the city of Santa Maria (just to the south) had a military airfield for training purposes from 1927 to 1959. This was separate from camp cook which I noticed to the south.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hancock_Fi ... ifornia%29
I imagine it should be there in all scenarios from 1936 to 1949.

Re: Map Errata
One more place name correction from me, the person who posted the Japanese place name corrections above.
KATEGAWA -> KAKEGAWA
There have been a couple of patches to the game since we brought up these errors. Could we have an estimate as to when they will be patched?
In the meantime, how would we go about correcting these errors in the scenario SAV files?
