Alien Migration

Post by evildari »

Maybe similar to the imports from the void - also happens to citizens.
Remember this region owns the whole planet:

I would understand if there were several 100K or even Million discontent people trying to get away from my benelovent rule, only to realize that the other side of the planet is also ruled by me... (i remember that worked in SR 2020), but then there would be the same number of migrants in both directions.

Why would you play to year 2338 if you’re the only nation? Any way, disregard my long explanation in another category. I didn’t realize that you’re the only country. Sorry, that just doesn’t seem like much fun.

it probably does to the economic models what dividing by 0 does to math.

What I would do, is assume that your population is citizens. In a world of hundreds of billions of people, there would be millions of people who are rebels who don’t “register for citizenship “. As times get better , these rebels join the legal system. As things get bad, then they go “ off grid” or “underground”.

But , respectfully, if this is bothering you, i would try something new.
I know of no other economic model that even comes close to this complexity. It may have some glitches, but I’ve seen more stabs at this economic moddelling than the global warming models used in real life that haven’t been right yet!!

Good luck, friend

of course i could roleplay this calculation error.. but why have a complex game and failing at basic (lack of better word) sanity checks...

As per the other thread - The engine does not work well with only one region. It's not designed to work like that and we don't plan to allocate resources to that. You've won, you're the Supreme Ruler.
