Well answered, thank you! Now I feel ashamed I use word 'googled' when I prefer duckduckgo myself. As for EVE, I once made a choice in my life: EVE vs real life and chose life. I see no other way to play it except by sacrificing life xD

UPDATE: It seems BG will be making this a DLC, which means in order to use it you will need SRU. I also cannot gift it until they have completed the conversion. This means the timeline I initially proposed will need to be fluid. The Sep 4th cutoff is no longer valid. I will leave it open until we discover a date the DLC will be ready.

This will also allow people who may have wanted SRGW, did not own SRU and did not feel strongly enough to just purchase one or the other, time to get SRU, knowing they may then use the GW DLC and may also win it for free.

From what I understand, it's not going to be DLC only. You could still do the giveaway for the standalone and the people that get it would be able to play just fine. If they own SR:U then they'd immediately get it as a DLC there as well, but they won't need ultimate to play the standalone. Ultimate isn't a requirement and they won't be making it only be a DLC. They'll be doing both. At least that's what they stated in that thread about it.

Hint hint, would prefer to move more copies of SRU. ;)

Just kidding! I am attempting to get more people involved. As it stands now, only 1 person in the give away, Kristijonas. Seems sad that I cannot even give away 2 FREE games.

Yeah. :/ Maybe just not enough people saw the steam threads. Could probably bump it so people coming in to check it out will see it more easily.

Went ahead and posted on the Ultimate steam board as well linking back to this thread. Hopefully you don't mind. I can remove it if so, but I'm hoping someone else might see it and want to give it a try. :)

Hi, may name is Beans on steam. I am fairly new to Battlegoat games (purchasing Ultimate a few weeks ago), but I love them. I loved it so much that I purchased a second copy of it and gave it to one of my steam friends to have someone to play with. I want the game, because I have been searching for a great WW1 strategy game. So far I have not found a World War one game to add to my library. There are not many games out there that offer the complexity like the Supreme Ruler Series. I have played Hearts of Iron, but can say for sure that I prefer Supreme Ruler. Supreme Ruler allows you to control all parts of a Nation. Based on my limited experience with Supreme Ruler Ultimate, and watching videos of the Great war, I can tell this newest addition to the franchise is a game I will enjoy. I am still learning the basics of the franchise but I can tell it is very in depth and developers really care. Also, I am playing on a low spec computer, I am not able to run games like Hearts of Iron well (10-15 fps on lowest settings). Supreme Ruler is very well optimized for me ( I have a Pentium 4 and Intel HD Graphics). These specs have not restricted me from playing the games I love. Yes it is true that I cannot play the games I want like Space Engineers, but my first love was for strategy games. Thanks for your time and the giveaway!

I was just wondering when you think the giveaway will end? I know you said that nothing would be decided until Battle Goat released there plans on whether or not they are going to make it into a dlc. When do you think they will reach a decision?

I think I will stick with the initial time frame, Sept 4th deadline. After further consideration it does not matter if it is DLC or stand alone. When BG does release it as DLC, if you have it as a separate game already you will get the DLC for free.
